In search of Ideal Prizes

As you know that we have a wide variety of activities lined up for the coming Aperitweat with Twestival Local in Mumbai. In addition to meeting the cool Mumbai tweeps over delicious food we are also raising funds and spreading awareness about Help A Child cause. Also to make life little more exciting at the Aperitweat we are going to add Raffle to our menu. Now we know that a Raffle without prizes is no raffle at all. So we want to have some exciting prizes that are worth trying (fighting) for. As you know Aperitweat does not like to be just another meet-up so how can we settle for just some-usual-prizes? We want something “different”.

Since Aperitweat is all about the individual Tweeps we are thinking why not have prizes as the extension of same idea. So prizes for the raffle can have a personal touch that makes it unique. Some ideas coming to my mind are:

• Salsa Dance Tutor may give free Salsa classes as a prize.
• Photographer may give a free portfolio or free tag along on his/her next photo-shoot.
• A yoga practitioner can give free yoga sessions.
• A blogger can offer featured post on his blog.
• If you don’t have any such thing to offer you can always sponsor a bottle of wine.

I hope you got the idea, we are looking for tweeps who can give (sponsor) a prize that is extension of their personality. What else can be as different as that! If you go ahead and decide to offer a prize in our raffle, we are ready to treat you as a Sponsor. Oh yeah you have a chance to become a sponsor of Aperitweat. We offer some really good returns to the sponsors:

• We are ready to put up your logo (links, names, pics whatever you prefer) on our site and
• we are also going to make a splash about the same on Twitter
• obviously you will gain the attention of really cool (and don’t forget awesome) Mumbai Twitterati
• Not to brag but we are a famous international tweetup (oh ya we are also in London and NYC) so you will definitely get some international visibility (not sure if that will help you but ya you will get it ).
