Hopefully you’ll want to share these stories from your life because Mario Cacciottolo from Someone Once Told Me is coming to AperiTWeat London on August 18th to capture your SOTM!
Mario, a native of Malta and a journalist with the BBC in London, describes his project as ‘photography meets storytelling’. He launched Someone Once Told Me just two years ago and now the website features an epic collection of 700+ photos, quoting something someone once told the subject. Most of these were taken by Mario himself, but many have also been submitted by fans from all over the world. Someone Once Told Me is rapidly gaining recognition with 3.7million page views to date. It recently featured in the Metro Newspaper and on the über popular blog Boing Boing. Even Darren Ewing, the TV director of 24 had his SOTM taken!
In support of the AperiTWeat and Lovebox campaign for Endometriosis UK, Mario will photograph your “I ♥ …….” to capture the things you love about life, London or whatever tickles your fancy.
