Some of you might have noticed our tweets recently. Not saying much, anticipating special surprises. It’s now time to reveal the first (but, beware, surely not the last!) surprise. And it is one we are particularly fond of.

It is now official that Lovebox will partner with AperiTWeat for our 3rd Aperitivo at Viva Verdi, on the 18th of August. AperiTWeat will keep its original spirit, so you’ll still find awesome drinks, amazing complimentary nibbles together with quality people and conversations. But we felt we could do more and decided to join forces with the guys at Lovebox, in support of Endometriosis UK.

Endometriosis UK is a charity in support of Endometriosis, which is a medical condition in women. There’s a lot of research going on to understand the reasons for this to occur and affect women, but still no reasons have been identified as certain, nor is their much awareness. The condition itself is not visible without specific analysis and it can be quite painful, too. It is essential that awareness is raised so we’d be very happy to play our part.

The guys at Lovebox have been brilliant so far in helping us helping Endometriosis UK. At AperiTWeat you will have the chance to donate to support the cause but you can also show your support by changing your avatar to raise awareness. You can easily do it from this page. We kindly ask you to do so if you’re attending, it’d be much appreciated!

This is something we are really excited about, and we are really thankful to the team at Lovebox for making this happen – thanks to Kaushik, Darshan and Michael. You can find out their amazing work on their blog.
